Meet Dr. Joyce D. Pallens, a licensed psychologist with a compassionate touch and a knack for personalized care. Specializing in the power of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she walks alongside individuals facing challenges like depression, anxiety, social anxiety, and OCD. Driven by a commitment to cultural sensitivity and tailored treatments, Dr. Pallens offers a welcoming haven for clients to navigate their mental health paths with understanding and empowerment. Dr. Pallens completed her doctoral program at the Ponce Health Sciences University, followed by a clinical practice in Massachusetts and completed an integrated behavioral health certification from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Pallens has training and is certified in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy for the treatment of OCD.

She has broad experience working in the primary care setting, community hospitals and private practice. Dr. Pallens works with teens, young adults and adults. She is also very skilled at providing interventions centered in women’s health (fertility, perinatal mood difficulties).

Dr. Pallens provides services exclusively via tele-health. She holds a Florida and a Tenessese licenses. Additionally, she provides virtual services to all eligible PSYPACT states.
