Jennifer Barletta is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with teens, adults, relationships, and families. She has a Master’s degree in Counseling and Community Psychology from Sage Graduate School in Albany, NY. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Albany State University of New York.

Jennifer is new to southwest Florida as she recently moved to the area with her family from New York. Jennifer has a wide range of clinical experience including working in private practice, substance abuse treatment facilities, psychiatric and community mental health centers, and correctional facilities. She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD, anger management, bipolar disorder, grief, family conflict, impulse control disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma and PTSD. Jennifer’s therapeutical approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused, Strength Based, and Trauma Focused Therapy.

Jennifer integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches to offer a highly personalized approach that is tailored to best align with her client’s goals for treatment. She works collaboratively with her clients to resolve concerns or behaviors and build on their strengths to help them become their best selves. Clients can expect to build confidence that things can be different for them. The therapeutic process facilitates positive change which leads to overall improvement in quality of life.

Jennifer offers in-person and telehealth evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is licensed in Florida and New York.
